Integrity and efficiency is our mission. We have people from different countries join us to the guided group trips. This group I guide will have several major differences from some other tours groups: Pre-trip services Because I am an instructor of Travel in China workshop, I will give to the group a free pre-trip seminar to help you prepare the trip.For people who are not located in Austin, TX, I will conduct telephone or online live conference for you. Assistant for your international airplane tickets from the US to China can beprovide upon request. There is 5% of ticket fee charge for this service. Photo taking On the road, we will take some group photos. Just in case if something happened to your camera or film/disk, we can help you record your memories! The group photos will be posted on line (open via passwords). This is a free service. You can order prints directly from the online photo service such as Kodak. Group photos or individual photos can be downloaded to CD. I provide higher quality prints (especially if you need larger size). I will give price quotation for these two services upon request. Extra service After each trip by the end of the routeg, if you like to visit more in Beijing or Shanghai, we can arrange the trip included the airplane/train tickets and hotels for you. These extra services are not included in the initial trip cost. Focusing on sightsee and explore, not shopping One of the Chinese tourism industry's scandals called "shopping groups". Most of the tour agencies give lower price in front. Then, on the road, when tours have no choice, they will drive the group to shopping centers and shops. Some times, these groups will have three shopping stops per day. With one or two hours in each stop, tours waste so much time. These shopping centers sometimes are higher priced. Tours normally spend much more money then they would shop in other places. The tours agents earn their commission from these shops. No wonder they like to drive groups to more shops then to tour sites. Our group will have a few shopping opportunities during the whole trip; we try to select the best local shopping places; it is up to you if you like to shop there or not, there is no trick. I will not get any shop commission, I am just a member of the group. No hiding fees Another tour agents' scandal is to force tours pay more and more after you started the trip. Some of the agents quote lower price when the beginning, then at each place they will charge varies extra fees. Some tours ended up paying 2-3 times of the initial price. We will quote all the costs that we know before the trip. Save time on the road Some tours agencies in order to lower their cost, they put groups on the bus everyday that tours spend majority of the trip time on the highways. We will go to some remote regions. We will spend some time on the bus. In order to see more places; however, we also fly to other locations rather than ride very long distance in the bus.
